About me
Hi, I'm Jane. I'm a fully qualified counsellor, and a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). This enables me to work in a professional and ethical way in the service of my clients.

I have an Advanced Diploma in Integrative Counselling from
The Iron Mill College in Exeter and I volunteer at The Margaret Jackson Centre in Exeter. My work is person-centred and trauma-informed, and I've undertaken training in areas of special interest such as complex grief and traumatic loss, and child sexual abuse. I am committed to my ongoing professional and personal development to expand my learning and experience.

My approach
For me, relationships are the key to life and at the heart of my understanding of how we develop, what causes distress, and how we can heal. I feel privileged to be a counsellor and approach my work with compassion, patience and curiosity. I love what I do and continue to be inspired and enriched by my clients and their unique stories.

I don't have all the answers or believe that you need to be “fixed”, but what I can do is offer a safe and supportive space for us to explore what’s holding you back.
